beatles rock band xbox sm1 300x190 Beatles Rockband Game On Your X BOX Console

Rock Band: The Beatles is a music video game published by MTV Games and distributed by Electronic Arts. This game will be well-suited with all rock band instrument controllers and other music-based video game peripherals.

In the gameplay, players are allowed to perform as members of The Beatles by providing up to six players with the feature to play three different controllers designed after music instruments — a guitar controller for lead guitar, a drum controller and three microphones for vocals. There is an option known as Quickplay in both online or offline where the players can enjoy the full track list.

When singing vocals, the player must match their pitch to that of original vocals. For that, a pitch indicator is provided in the game which will display the singer’s accuracy relative to the original pitch. For competition sense, there is a performance meter which drops down if a player fails to match the notes. This may lead the player to get out of the game, once the meter drops out completely. In such situations, a player can be saved by another player if he activates “Beatlemania”, which can also be used to temporarily increase the count of the points that the band earns.

During the course of the game, the Beatles extraordinary list of music will take the players on a journey through the legacy of the band’s legendary career. The audio and visuals look extra-ordinary as it is considered to be one of the highlights of the game. In short, Rock Band: The Beatles is a video game using different mechanics when compared to other music video games.

art 11 Beatles Were Experimental Music

Sadly I’ve found that many people think of The Beatles only as the band that sang songs such as “She Loves You” & “Can’t Buy Me Love.” While these simple early tunes are great and have lasted the test of time. It’s The Beatles more artistic, experimental songs that I feel are their real legacy. They are the songs that are still inspiring thinking musical artists nearly 40 years after they last recorded together.

These seven songs were The Beatles at their most experimental. Not all of these songs are among their best, although some certainly are! but they are all a cherished part of The Beatles back catalog to me.

#1 “What’s The New Mary Jane”
This song which features only John Lennon, George Harrison and Lennon’s soon to be wife Yoko Ono. It was not actually released until The Beatles Anthology 3. It was intended for The Beatles incredible 1968 double album known as The White Album, it was actually self titled. It was not included due to time constraints.

The song features a simple piano part, bizarre lyrics, and insane sound effects. The last 4 minutes of the song is basically just spacey sound effects. It’s definitely one of those songs that’s quite hard to describe with words. It’s definitely a real trip.

#2 “Revolution”
This 8 minute track was included on The White Album and has probably become The Beatles most infamous track. Many hate it. Some love it. Count me among those that loves it. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t listen to it every time I put the album on, it’s not that kind of track. But when I do listen to it, I still find it fascinating.

#3 “Tomorrow Never Knows”
Incredibly the last track on Revolver, “Tomorrow Never Knows” was actually the first song recorded for the album. I think that’s incredible as the song, even 42 years later, still sounds like the future. With lyrics from the book The Psychedelic Experience (which was based upon the Tibetan Book of the Dead), backwards guitars, insane sounding tape loops, this was a song that sounded thousands of years removed from the mop top hits of just 2 years previous.

#4 “Wild Honey Pie”
This is a strange little song which was completely sung and performed by Paul McCartney. It just consists of the refrain “Honey Pie” and some bizarre sounding guitars.

#5 “I am the Walrus”

Possibly The Beatles most perfect weird psychedelic song. It’s endlessly listenable as there are so many layers to it that one can literally hear something they’ve never heard before even on their 1000th listen.

This was The Beatles at the peak of their “studio as an instrument” phase and it’s still inspiring countless experimental rock musicians to this day. Forget “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” it’s all about “I Am The Walrus.”

#6 “Strawberry Fields Forever”

If “Strawberry Fields Forever” isn’t quite as weird as “I Am The Walrus,” it’s probably even more perfect. It’s a truly brilliant song and much like “I Am The Walrus” it’s the an amazing example of the “studio as an instrument” aesthetic that The Beatles perfected in 1967.

#7 “Within you without you”

I feel this song often gets short shrift. And yes, it’s very experimental. A “pop” song with an all Indian instrumental? Sure there was “Love You To” & “The Inner Light” before, but this one took it to the next level. I think it’s a brilliant song that fits on Sgt. Pepper perfectly. It’s a trip through some bizarre carnival and you have to make a stop in India while you are there, of course.

The game Beatles: Rock Band will be thoroughly enjoyed if the player is a Beatle fan, but even a non-gamer can enjoy this game too. Gamers who are not aware of Beatles music will also enjoy this game, as the game is very entertaining with amazing graphics. The story line of this game is better in comparison to other rock band games and is sure to gain more new fans.

The Beatles: Rock Band includes 45 fantastic Beatles songs that are worth playing and singing the melody and its harmony parts, on your own or in association with two or three more friends, to keep the singers in high spirits. Playing the rock band drums can be enjoyed by the players as it looks similar to real drums, besides offering good practice. Playing guitar and bass parts also gives a very realistic feel. The singing parts is a lot of fun and learning it becomes interesting and simple.

The game has so many awesome features that the players do not know when the night passes away. The psychedelic game graphics are really cool in songs such as `Lucy in the sky with diamonds`, and make the best of the performances at Shea Stadium on The Ed Sullivan Show. This video game also is featured with tutorials that impart lessons on becoming a better drummer as well as a singer. The online play allows the players to learn, practice, enjoy, and also compete with other players all over the world. The video game offers the pleasure of real studio chatter in which none of the players must have experienced, as it has never been released before.

Of course, there is no doubt that this is one of the video games that Beatles fans will bowl over with anxiety and enthusiasm. Even the most snobbish type of people, will also enjoy this game, provided they give a try as it offers authentic fun. The Beatles Rock Band came out on September 9, 2009, and on the same day the newly CD sets re-mastered Beatles came out. Both were welcomed by people.

The music of the game comprises of nearly 25% of the songs that were released during the Beatles career and makes a good sample. They include some highly loved early classics such as `I want to hold your hand`, `I feel fine` and `I saw her standing there`, besides the psychedelic era songs `Paperback Writer`, `Sgt. Pepper’s Hearts Club Band` and `I am the Walrus`. The music also has the 68-69 era songs of `Revolution’, `Here comes the Sun` and `Get Back` with a total of 45 songs.

The cool things of playing the game is that the players get to play the entire series starting from the 1960 The Cavern in Liverpool to all the way to the 1969 Abbey Road recording. The game graphics are astonishing and the characters resemble the Beatles, but there are different stages that offer psychedelic images for songs such as `I am the Walrus`. Instruments such as guitars look replicate to the instruments. Harmony singing is facilitated and friends get to sing on the rock band in unison having a novel experience. Also the fact that more than one singer can sing at once really makes the Beatles Rock Band an ultimate party game.

Beatles Mono Box Set Prices Online The Beatles Mono Box Set Now Cheaper Online

Like nearly all Beatles fans who were born after The Beatles split up, I grew to like the The Beatles music listening to the stereo versions of their songs as they were really the sole versions around.

However I heard a ton concerning how the mono versions of their albums were the “true” mixes of their albums because they were the ones that the band themselves worked on up until about 1968. I read the quote from Lennon when he said that you simply haven’t really heard Sgt. Pepper unless you’ve heard it in mono.

I then read “My Life Recording The Beatles by Geoff Emerick and that built my interest for the mono mixes higher. So I was pleased to listen to that their albums were being put on CD in mono as a part of The Beatles In Mono Box Set and of course I ordered it on-line as soon as I could.

It has been a true thrill to hear these songs in mono for the first time, many of them really sound substantially different (beyond the obvious differences in panning.) Some such as “Helter Skelter” have totally different lengths. Some like “She’s Leaving Home” are literally in a completely different key and tempo (the mono mix of “She’s Leaving Home” was sped up to be a half step higher than it had been recorded.)

While I find many of the mono versions very fascinating I think it’s the early songs that really profit most from being heard in mono. A heap of those songs really sound better in The Beatles Mono Box Set compared to their stereo brothers.

The issue I have with a lot of the stereo versions is that they were mixed with extremely wide stereothat ends up in scenarios like with many of their earlier songs where all of the vocals are on one side and all of the instruments are on the other. This makes a terribly irritating listening experience when llistening on headphones (and I love listening to music on headphones.)

I certainly think that The beatles remastered mono box set is an essential part of any true Beatles fans Beatles collection. Do not misunderstand me, I in all probability listen to the stereo versions more often, but I do believe many of the mono mixes are better and even when they are not better, they are still interesting for me to listen to because they are totally different from the stereo versions.

The author of this article highly recommends Ordering The Beatles in Mono Mono Box as it will bring plenty of joy to your life.
